EOOC closure

The 412th Test Wing Equal Opportunity Office will be close at noon Dec. 18 for an official office function. Regular Office hours will resume Dec. 19.

Retirement

Michael E. Frye: The director of the 412th Force Support Squadron cordially invites you to attend a retirement ceremony for Michael E. Frye, Force Development Flight chief. The ceremony is 3:30 p.m., Dec. 13 in the Airman and Family Readiness Center (former Conference Center) Galaxy Room. Uniform of the day for military, business casual for civilians.

Claudie ìCCî Carr: Team Edwards is cordially invited to attend a retirement ceremony and luncheon in honor of Claudie ìCCî Carr 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Dec. 18 at the Chapel 1 Annex. Lunch will be catered by Domingo’s Mexican Restaurant, with tickets costing $15 per person. All tickets must be paid prior to the event.

AF seeks DOD civilian award nominations

Nominations for the 59th Annual Department of Defense Distinguished Civilian Service Award are due to the Air Force Personnel Center by Feb. 25.

The award is the highest presented to DOD career civilian employees whose careers reflect exceptional devotion to duty and significant contributions of broad scope to DOD operational efficiency, economy or other improvements.

Each major command, combatant command, field operating agency and direct reporting unit may submit one nomination in each category. Organizations and base-level personnel must contact their MAJCOM, COCOM, FOA, or DRU for applicable suspense dates and nomination procedures.
