Victim Advocate of the Month

victims-advocate
Name: Eric Cullen

Duty Title: Cyber Systems Supervisor

Organization: 412th CS/SCOO

Years in Service: 18

Hometown: Monterey, Calif.

Why did you become a volunteer victim advocate: I volunteered because I think that it is an important additional duty. This is one of the biggest problems facing the DOD right now, and being a victim advocate is an ongoing education about the subject. That in-depth education about all aspects of sexual assault and its aftermath is something you canít get just anywhere. I also like being in a position to help people that are in real need here and while deployed.

At this time, Eric is currently deployed and expected to return in May 2014.
