Gaining Altitude – Growth Opportunities for the Week

Through our character – an opportunity to reflect on important issues in our community

In the 1920s English Judge Lord Moulton wrote this: “The greatness of a nation, its true civilization, is measured by the extent of its obedience to the unenforceable.” Our nation has more laws than ever before and yet we are no closer to utopia (a perfect society). To be a great nation, we must have leaders (and citizens) who are willing to do what is right when no one is watching. It is being true to self behind closed doors. When a civilization does what is right for the right reasons, peace and stability are sure to reign.

Through our prayers – an opportunity to pray for the needs of our community

Pray for our leaders that they would set the example in doing what is right for the right reasons.
