Gaining Altitude – Growth Opportunities for the Week

Through our character – an opportunity to reflect on important issues in our community

– What do you think about on a regular basis? What thoughts keep running over and over in your mind? One psychologist said it this way, “It is the things we revisit that stick with us.¬† What you think about over and over will not go away quickly.” The remedy is found in the New Testament book of Philippians, “whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.”

Through our prayers – an opportunity to pray for the needs of our community

– Ask God to help you focus (revisit) the good and noble things in your mind.
