Court martial announcement

U.S. vs. Bowen, a General Court-Martial, was held March 5-7 at the Edwards AFB court-house.

Airman 1st Class Ellwood Bowen III, 31st Test and Evaluation Squadron, was charged with three specifications of aggravated assault, two specifications of assault consummated by a battery and one specification of communicating a threat.

A panel of members found Bowen guilty of one specification of aggravated assault on his spouse, and one specification of assault consummated by a battery on a fellow Airman. Bowen was sentenced to one year confinement and a reduction to E-1.
