First quarter award winners are a ‘hit’

Airman 1st Class Austin Duncan, 412th Medical Operations Squadron, takes a swing at a whiffle ball as Master Sgt. William Russell, looks on in L.A. Dodgers gear. The theme of this quarter’s award ceremony was baseball where everyone was invited to support their favorite Major League team. Duncan was award the Dorm of the Quarter award. All winners were given the chance for a one-pitch at-bat to hit the ball into the cheering audience.

Airmen and Air Force civilians alike were honored June 4 at the base theater for the 412th Test Wing 1st Quarter Award Ceremony. The baseball-themed gathering featured the winners taking an at-bat to try and hit a whiffle ball into the audience.
