Gaining Altitude – Growth Opportunities for the Week

Through our character – an opportunity to reflect on important issues in our community

- The 4th of July is all about celebrating our freedom as a nation. Merriam-Webster tells us that celebrating is “to do something special or enjoyable for an important event, occasion, holiday.to say that (someone or something) is great or important.”  That’s what we will do this upcoming weekend.  Our nation is different from any other nation on earth and our freedoms are worthy of telling others so we should not shy away from celebrating on this historic occasion.  Now shouldn’t we do the same thing with our faith?

Through our prayers – an opportunity to pray for the needs of our community

- Give thanks to God for the wonderful freedoms we have in our country and pray for our leaders that they may recognize their responsibility to ensure those freedoms continue.
