412th MSG welcomes new commander

Leshinsky assumed command from the outgoing commander, Col. Robert Hoff, who now leaves for his new assignment at Fort Belvoir, Va.

The new 412th Mission Support Group commander, Lt. Col. Eric Leshinsky, addresses his new group for the first time after receiving command July 9.

Leshinsky is joining Team Edwards from the Pentagon in Washington D.C. where he served as Force Development Integration deputy chief at U.S. Air Force Headquarters.

The 412th Mission Support Group provides mission support to over 12,500 personnel assigned to the Air Force Test Center, 412th Test Wing, Air Force Research Laboratory, NASA’s Neil Armstrong Flight Research Center and 49 associate units on a 308,000 acre base. The group’s commander directs force protection, communications, civilian and military administration, supply transportation, fuels and deployment activities as well as morale, welfare and recreation services.
