Change of command

Col. Robert Lepper Jr., will assume command of the 412th MXG from Col. Robert Weaver II at 9 a.m., July 10 in Hangar 1600.

Lt. Col. select promotion party

Team Edwards is invited to a promotion party 4:30 p.m., July 11 at Pancho’s in Club Muroc. Come celebrate with Edwards’ newest lieutenant colonel selectees. Selectees are: Christopher Buechler, 53 TEG/Det. 1; Daryl Corneille, 445th FLTS; Michael Deaver, 53rd TEG/Det. 1; Frederick Dohnke, 412th FLTS; Bryan Duke, 412th TW/SET; Joshua Egan, TPS; Matthew Farley, 53rd TEG/Det. 1; Richard Lyon, 419th FLTS; Andrew Martin, 416th FLTS; Anthony Masset, TPS; Brian Owen, 53rd TEG/Det. 1; Carlos Perazza, 53rd TEG/Det. 1; Todd Stinchfield, OGV; Nicholas Sweeney, TPS; and Heather Toews, 416th FLTS.

Global Leadership Summit

The Edwards Chapel has seats available for the Global Leadership Summit global telecast Aug. 14-15 at Desert Vineyard Church in Lancaster. Featured participants include Bill Hybels, Tyler Perry,†President and CEO of GE Jeffrey Immelt and best-selling author Susan Cain.
Cost is free for military members. Currently there are 25 slots for mid-level NCOs, senior captains and new majors. Civilians can receive a $99 promo price – regularly $249. If you want to attend, contact Chaplain (Capt.) Graham Baily at (661) 277-1954 or the Chapel 2 office at (661) 277-2111.

Resilience class

The next Resilience class will be 7:30 a.m., July 16 in Bldg. 2460, Room A. Those interested in attending should contact Nancy Koch-Castillo at (661) 277-6711 or email nancy.kochcastillo.1@us.af.mil. Resilience information as well as the Wingman Day “Falling in Love” videos are posted on the Edwards Portal in the middle of the page. †If you click on the Helping Agency icon you will find information to include a resilience folder with all the PowerPoint presentations posted.

Airman’s Attic

The Airman’s Attic is in need of volunteers. †Any time that you can give to assist would be greatly appreciated. Stop by the Airman’s Attic 10 a.m-1 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday, and 3-5 p.m., Wednesday.
