Gaining Altitude — Growth Opportunities for the Week

Chaplain (Lt. Col.) Brendon O’Dowd
412th TW chaplain

Through our character – an opportunity to reflect on important issues in our community
It’s so easy to get fired up and complain about what’s happening in Washington, D.C., and Hollywood. The internet, to include social media, adds fuel to the fire and makes things worse. Of course, very few of us have any impact in those locations. One person reminds us, “We let what’s happening there steal our hope about what’s possible here, in our own spheres of influence.”  You have the opportunity to make a difference in your home, your neighborhood and your workplace.  What can you do to make a difference?

Through our prayers — an opportunity to pray for the needs of our community
– Pray for wisdom and creativity in how you can make a difference in your home, your neighborhood, and your workplace.
