Desert High sports

The Desert High School Scorpions football and girls volleyball teams are making their way through the California Interscholastic Federation Southern Section Playoffs.
The girls volleyball team (25-2) defeated Gladstone High School from Covina, Calif,, 3-0, Nov. 17. They will now take on Summit High School (22-3) from Fontana at Rio Hondo College in Whittier, Nov. 21. Game is at 2 p.m.
The DHS Scorpions football team will take on the undefeated Grace Brethren Lancers (11-0, Simi Valley) in a neutral playoff game Nov. 20 at 7:30 p.m. The game will be held at Moorpark College.
