Gaining Altitude — Growth Opportunities for the Week

Chaplain (Maj.) John M. Von Almen
412th TW chaplain

Through our character – an opportunity to reflect on important issues in our community
Jerry Bridges, whose book, “The Pursuit of Holiness,” sold more than a million copies, said, “Lord, I am willing To receive what You give. To lack what You withhold. To relinquish what You take, To suffer what You inflict, To be what you require.” He died March 6, 2016, having lived a life of service to God and people. Are you willing to trust your Creator with your life and with all that comes your way?

Through our prayers — an opportunity to pray for the needs of our community
All loving God, help us to trust that your plans for us are good — whether or not we like them or understand them. You can be trusted.
