Team Edward’s marches for King’s legacy

Members of the Edwards community marched from 412th Test Wing Headquarters to Chapel One Jan. 15 to honor the life and faith of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Those leading the group carried a sign which read, "Remember! Celebrate! Act! 'A day on, not a day off!'"

Base Library opens science discovery center

Families gathered at the Base Library Jan. 10, to see the grand opening of the STEM Science Discovery Center. The discovery center is sponsored by the Edwards AFB Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Program and offers a variety of activities to encourage children to learn about science.

Project84 continues into New Year

Towards the end of 2013, Brig. Gen. Michael Brewer, 412th Test Wing commander, announced his cost-savings initiative for Edwards AFB - Project84. According to Brewer, if everyone on base saved $84 each month, it would ultimately save an excess of $11 million annually.
