In accordance with the Department of Defense mandate, the Air Force must complete the Microsoft Windows 10 migration by March 31, 2018. Any operating system not upgraded by the deadline will be denied access to the network.

Edwards F-35 testers nominated for prestigious aviation award

The National Aeronautic Association named the F-35 Integrated Test Force at Edwards Air Force Base, Calif., as one of nine organizations nominated for the 2017 Robert J. Collier Trophy. The NAA announced all nominees in a press release Feb. 5.

412th LRS aids stranded motorists

The 412th Logistics Readiness Squadron sent out four buses early Oct. 16 to assist the Kern County Sheriff's Department and California Highway Patrol in transporting motorists who had been trapped in a mudslide on State Route 58 east of Tehachapi.
