NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center's new Facilities Support Center at Edwards Air Force Base, Calif., has been certified platinum, the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design's highest standard for long-term sustainability.
The Hispanic Heritage Month committee kicked things off Sept. 17 with food tasting, dancing and a salsa contest at the Airman and Family Readiness Center. The food served was all homemade, representing different Hispanic and Latin American countries.
Aviation milestones aren’t the only accomplishments that are recognized at Edwards. On March 9, Team Edwards and its leaders gathered together to recognize its newest chief master sergeants during a chief recognition ceremony at Stripes Lounge in the Oasis Community Center.
