KC-46 tanker successfully refuels F/A-18

A U.S. Air Force and Boeing aircrew aboard the KC-46 tanker successfully refueled an F/A-18 fighter jet in flight Feb. 10. The air refueling was the program's first using the KC-46's hose and drogue system. It took place in the skies over Washington State.

Team Edwards aims to save lives at ‘Battle of Badges’

Team Edwards found another way to save lives Feb. 3 at the 10th Annual Battle of the Badges blood drive. Battle of the Badges is an annual Red Cross donation competition for all law enforcement and military agencies across Southern California to see who can bring in the most blood.

31st TES departs for Mountain Home AFB to conduct F-35 testing

A much anticipated and important test mission for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Program is underway with the "deployment" of six operational test and evaluation F-35s and more than 85 Airmen from the 31st Test and Evaluation Squadron, which took place Feb. 8 and 9.
