Staff Sgt. Berumen, 304th Military Intelligence Battalion and the second presenter, gives a presentation on helmet safety, showing the difference between a good bicycle helmet and an improper one for use. The Soldier presented examples of different types of bicycle and skateboard helmets and how to properly wear each one.


Robbie Bergin, traumatic brain injury case manager at Raymond W. Bliss Army Health Center, gives kindergarten through second-grade students at Colonel Johnston Elementary School a hands-on experience March 16 “” with a gelatin brain! Bergin’s presentation was designed to educate children on the brain’s structure and functions, promote awareness on preventing head injuries during play and sports activities, and teach children about proper helmet safety.
