Crafty students make gifts for mom

Alton Dunham

Marcela Camarena Lubian, a staff member with the Arts and Crafts center, here, helps Felix Llanes Leon,  6, apply a third layer of paint to the cup he’s making for his Mother on Friday. The cup will be placed in a kiln to be fired, and Llanes and his classmates will then have a completed gift to present their loved ones for Mother’s Day. A group of students from Annette Roger’s 1st grade class, Pueblo Del Sol Elementary School, visited the Fort Huachuca Arts and Crafts center during March in celebration of National Arts and Crafts Month.
