From left, Spc. Jacob Garcia, Spc. Harold Gill, Spc. Justin Schutjer and Pfc. Christopher Little from the 18th Military Police Detachment remove leaves from the drainage ditches on Smith Road. Removing these leaves will help prevent the road from flooding and disrupting traffic on post during monsoon season which typically begins in July.

Staff Sgt. John Campbell, a Soldier with the Network Enterprise Technology Command here, helps clean up across from the NETCOM building. Fort Huachuca officials designated April 16 through Friday as a time for all units to help beautify the installation and prepare the fort for the coming fire season.

Spc. Rashod Spicer, an 11th Signal Brigade Soldier, reduces the widespread weeds along Brainard Road. Eliminating roadside weeds is one of the ways the 11th Signal Brigade and other units are restoring Fort Huachuca’s beauty and removing weeds before wildfire season.

Sfc. Chris Devall (left) and Spc. Russell Cutchall, both with the 11th Signal Brigade, lend their support to the post cleanup effort along Brainard Road. The weeds were so overgrown that removing them required digging them out and chopping them down.
