Army Community Service Volunteers receive thanks for service
Army Volunteer Corps Coordinator Tracey Clark extends a big ‘thank you’ to all volunteers and their supporters for attending the Volunteer Ceremony on April 18 to recognize the efforts and dedication that resulted in the thousands of hours submitted for 2011. There are currently 615 active volunteers in the Fort Huachuca area, and the group is constantly growing. Volunteers are “The Force Behind the Force.â€
Brown bag lunch scheduled
Join Army Community Service for a brown bag lunch with guest speaker, Stephanie Orr, the executive director of the CASA Program in Maricopa County. Her passion in life is to prevent and/or decrease child abuse and relationship violence. Orr was named one of the 50 most powerful people in Arizona.

Parent Tot Playgroup to meet
Parent Tot Playgroup will be meeting at School Age Services 0930-1100 on May 16 and 23, 9:30 – 11 a.m. This summer ACS has reserved space at Expanding Horizons Child Development Center, Building 49055, for June 27 and July 25, 9:30 – 11 a.m. Join the group for a morning of play, games, song, crafts and fellowship. This group is intended for children 3 and younger and their parent.
