The Pima Community College football team watches as the last group of the day, their fellow teammates, work to try to move wooden boards across the water from one high-rise to the other while getting their entire team across at the same time. The team was on Fort Huachuca for a training session Friday training on the Leadership Reaction Course.

Members of the Pima Community College football team work together to get a fallen comrade across the water while working on the Leadership Reaction Course on Fort Huachuca. “Football is a team sport and we are doing a leadership retreat here. These kids are just learning to work together and have some fun,” said Head Coach Pat Nugent

Pima Community College football player Jose Charles, offensive line from Sierra Vista, watches as his teammate Jordan Christensen, offensive line, gets a boost up to a board the team placed high up to cross over a ‘minefield.’ The team had to work to get ‘ammunition boxes’ safely across the fence without causing an ‘explosion.’ The whole team had to cross the boards.

With a barrel, Adam Valenzuela, starting kicker on the Pima Community College football team, walks across a plank his team crafted while performing a team activity on the Fort Huachuca Leadership Reaction Course Friday.
