Colonel Smith Middle School

Block party marks end of school

Skylar Clayton, 12, who will enter 8th grade during the coming school year, participates in the obstacle course during Colonel Smith Middle School’s block party May 23. The entire school participated in the end-of-year event that ushered in the start of summer vacation. May 24 was the last day of school for Fort Huachuca Accommodation School students.

 

Colonel Johnston Elementary School

The end is here!

Adam Baer, 8, gets a congratulatory hug from his mom, Kellie, on May 24, the last day of school. Adam and his family are going on a trip to the Grand Canyon over the summer vacation.

Sarah Boston, 6, gets off the bus on the last day of school near the Fort Huachuca Museum on May 24. She plans to go swimming and to learn to play the piano over the summer. The Memorial Day weekend marked the first weekend of summer vacation for Fort Huachuca youth.
