Signal Soldier memorial rededicated

U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command’s Command Sgt. Maj. Gerald Williams (foreground) and NETCOM Commanding General, Maj. Gen. Jennifer Napper, lay a wreath on the Liberty Bell replica inside the Signal Cove of Remembrance as family members of the deceased enter the room. The Cove, located in the lobby of Fort Huachuca’s NETCOM Headquarters in Greely Hall, was rededicated May 24 after six new names of NETCOM fallen Soldiers and civilians were added to the Wall of Remembrance. There are currently 88 names on the wall in addition to a special plaque dedicated to two NETCOM Soldiers who died while stationed here. The Cove was originally dedicated in late 2008, and there have been three rededication ceremonies since then. The guest speaker at this year’s event was retired Maj. Gen. Robert Nabors.
