Get the family ready to jam out next weekend at the “Laughter, Love & Fiddle Tour,” June 16.

The tour features Natalie Stovall, an award-winning country artist, singer, songwriter and fiddle player. Comedian Paul Varghese will also perform.

The Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation and Army Entertainment are hosting the event. The concert will be held in the ballroom at the Thunder Mountain Activity Centre.

“I think it is going to be an awesome show. We are passing out flyers and really trying to fill the house for her,” said James Thomas, special events coordinator and logistics contract officer representative with FMWR.

“We are doing it for the Soldiers and families. We think with Soldiers being gone it’s something for the families to come out and … participate in. That’s why Army Entertainment brings this down for us,” Thomas added.

The doors open at 7, and the show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are on sale now for $4 at Murr Community Center, TMAC and Jeannie’s Diner until June 14 or sold out. Tickets can also be purchased at the door for $5.

“I think she is an awesome artist, I heard her play ‘The Devil Went Down to Georgia,’ and she is really good. I look forward to hearing the rest of her stuff,” Thomas said.

Stovall was born and raised outside of Nashville, Tenn. and has been singing and playing the fiddle professionally since she was 10.

“I think people should come out and bring their spouses, have a good time and enjoy themselves,” he said. There will be food and drinks available at the event. People of all ages are welcome.
