Celebrate Independence Day in Sierra Vista

The City of Sierra Vista

Celebrate Independence Day on Tuesday and July 4 at Veterans Memorial Park, Fry Boulevard, in Sierra Vista. This year’s fireworks celebration is sponsored by the Sierra Vista Rotary Club, City of Sierra Vista Leisure and Library Services Department, Fort Huachuca and business community members. The activities follow:

 

Tuesday

All events will be held at Veterans Memorial Park with performances at the Centennial Pavilion.

5:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. Food vendors, talent show and dance

6:00 p.m – 7:30 p.m. Youth talent show

8:00 pm – 11:00 p.m. Street dance with Sean Trackman & the Copper City Rail Band

 

July 4

All Day: Arts & crafts vendors at Veterans Memorial Park with entertainment at the Centennial Pavilion

2nd Annual Pets and People Promenade at Ramada #3, Veterans Memorial Park

7:00 a.m. – Registration

7:30 a.m. – Judging of entries

8:00 a.m. – Promenade starts

8:30 a.m. – Awards presentation

11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. “Salute to the Union” ceremony

9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Fort Huachuca military displays

4:00 p.m. “Live Broadcast” on K101 (100.9 FM) by Cherry Creek Radio from the City of Sierra Vista sports complex

8:05 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. The 45th Spectacular “4th of July” Fireworks Show

Patriotic music during the fireworks on K101 & KWCD (92.3FM)
