New school prepares for August opening

Megan Brown, project engineer for Turner, and Colonel Smith Middle School Principal Robert Henderson adjust boxes while moving into the new facility. The move is on schedule, and the school could have start today if needed. All of the materials for teachers to start school are available and ready.

The room being inspected is a student collaboration space tied to flexible learning stations. All doors can be opened and the room can be used to teach small and large groups. The television will help students to connect with other students across the world with live feed.
