2012/2013 School Bus Transportation

All preschool students attending Colonel Johnston Elementary School will be transported by school bus from home to school. If you move, or if your student is to be transported to and from another address, the school office must be notified.

All K, 1st and 2nd grade students attending Colonel Johnston Elementary School who live outside of the one mile radius will be eligible to ride the school bus. Stops are 3,4,5,6 and 10.

All 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students attending General Myer Elementary School who live outside of the one mile radius will be eligible to ride the school bus. Eligible students residing in Bonnie Blink, from the Post Flagpole to the southwest on Grierson Avenue, and west of Colonel Smith Middle School will be transported from stops 3,4,7,8,9 and 10.

All 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students attending Colonel Smith Middle School who live outside of the one mile radius will be eligible to ride the school bus. Stops are 1,2,3,4,5 and 6.

3. Burt Road (middle of the block) … J, M, S

4. Grierson Avenue (east side across from District Office) … J, M, S

5. Grierson Avenue and Boyd (west side) … J, S

6. Smith Street and Luke Street … J, S

7. Craig Street and Cariaga Court … M

8. Kautz Loop … M

9. Bernard Street … M

10. Railroad Avenue … J, M

 

Students should arrive at school bus stops approximately five minutes prior to pickup time.

 

Note: bus service provided to students living outside of one-mile radius of school.
