Don’t miss next Right Arm Night

The next Right Arm Night will feature a “Party on the Patio” starting at 4 p.m. Friday at Thunder Mountain Activity Centre.

As always, RAN is free and open to the entire Fort Huachuca community 18 and older. Free food and a pay-as-you-go bar will be available.

Register now for indoor triathlon

Sports, Fitness and Aquatics will host the “1st Time Tri” #2 indoor triathlon Aug. 4 beginning at 7 a.m. at Barnes Field House. The triathlon is open to all levels and will consist of swim in the indoor pool, spin bike and run on the track.

Entrants can register at BFH or Eifler Fitness Center. Entry deadline, limited to the first 72 entrants, is July 31. Race day registrations will not be accepted.

Get ‘in the sing’ at Murr CC

Murr Community Center will host a karaoke party starting at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 11. Patrons 18 and older are welcome. A pay-as-you-go bar will be available.

U of A Football returns to Fort Huachuca

The University of Arizona Wildcat Football Team will hold pre-season practice Aug.8 – 12 at Warrior/Sentinel Field near Eifler Fitness Center. The practices are free and open to the public.

Coaches’ meeting set for flag football

The 2012 Intramural Flag Football Program will begin Aug. 27 at 6 p.m. at the Eifler Sports Complex.

The team coaches meeting will be held Aug. 15, 10 a.m. at Barnes Field House. All letters of intent are due at that time. Team rosters will be due Aug. 26.

BOSS plans trip to Disneyland

Murr Community Center is accepting reservations through Aug. 20 for the Bettter Opportunities for Single Soldiers’ trip to Disneyland, set for Aug. 31 – Sept. 3.

Cost is $250 per person and includes park admission, hotel stay and transportation. B.O.S.S. members can earn a $50 discount on the cost through the B.O.S.S. Volunteer Program.

Go tubing on the Salt River

Outdoor Recreation has planned a tubing trip to the Lower Salt River on Aug. 25. Cost is $40 for tubing, with $25 paid at the time of registration and $15 paid in cash at the float house for the tube and transportation.

The trip leaves at 7 a.m. from MWR Rents, Building 70914, Irwin Street.

Now through Aug. 31, authorized Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation patrons have an opportunity to win one of four all-inclusive “Great Getaways” vacation packages to an Armed Forces Recreation Center.
