All-Army Soccer trials underway here

No. 3, Sgt. Jeremy Dornbusch of Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, practices a goal shot at a training session for the All-Army Soccer Team on Aug. 30. The All Army Men’s Soccer Trial Camp is underway at Fort Huachuca through Sept.22.

The contest is underway on Fort Huachuca to determine which Army hopefuls will make the All-Army Soccer Team this month during soccer trails being held on the installation. Soccer fans are invited to attend practice sessions, choose favorites and cheer them on as they compete against each other in play.

Members of the All Army Men’s Soccer Trial Camp played against the Cochise Futbol Club Soccer Academy Estudiantes at Bujalski Field on Fort Huachuca, Aug. 30. All-Army practices are held Monday through Friday, 9-11 a.m. and 7-9 p.m. through much of September. The public is welcome to watch.

Who knows — an Army Soldier might be the next David Beckham and could even get his start during the ongoing soccer trial camp.

Attend practices on Bujalski Field, next to Barnes Field House, weekdays , from 9 – 11 a.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. through the duration of the soccer trials.
