Two activity-packed days mark 2012 MI HoF

This was one of three activities available to inductees and guests during the first day of the MI Hall of Fame which took place on Thursday and Friday. Marks was one of eight inductees in this year’s ceremony.

Maj. Gen. Gregg Potter, commander, U.S. Army Intelligence Center of Excellence and Command Sgt. Maj. Todd Holiday, MI Corps command sergeant major, and other guests tour the Pfc. Parker F. Dunn Barracks after Friday’s Memorialization Ceremony. Dunn was killed in action in France during World War 1 after being fired upon three times while trying to deliver a message he volunteered to carry in extremely dangerous circumstances. He received the Medal of Honor.

A member on the MI Hall of Fame historic tour and who was born on Fort Huachuca looks at a list of past commanders who previously resided in the Pershing House during the post tour on Sept. 13.

Weinstein Award for Excellence in Military Intelligence was established to recognize the outstanding achievements of one Army captain within the military intelligence community who embodies the values and ideals for which the late Lt. Gen. Weinstein stood. Lt. Gen. Weinstein, who passed away in 2007, is remembered as the Father of Modern Military Intelligence.
