Sierra Vista performs annual street maintenance

City of Sierra Vista

Between Monday and Oct. 12, the City of Sierra Vista will begin applying a rubberized chip seal on some streets within the city limits. Residents who will be impacted by the repair work will receive informational flyers 24 to 48 hours prior to the start of the maintenance. The streets receiving this process are as follows:

  • Colombo Drive (from Campus to Avenida El Rancho)
  • Campus Drive (from State Route 90 to Colombo)
  • Mormon Drive (from Santa Catalina Drive to Busby Drive)
  • Greenwood Drive
  • Santa Teresa Drive
  • Verde Drive (from Blue Bird Drive to Foothills Drive)
  • Town and Country Drive (from Piccadilly Drive to Avenida Cochise)
  • Busby Drive, north side of street – Moorman to Coronado
  • Meadowlark Dr (El Camino Real to west end)
  • Mockingbird Ln (El Camino Real to west end)
  • Moonflower Way
  • Starview Place
  • Sunburst Drive
  • Briarwood Drive
  • Willow Drive
  • Santa Catalina Drive
  • Sunburst Place
  • Santa Maria Drive
  • Sunview Way
  • Santa Rita Drive
  • Village Drive
  • Santa Rosa Drive
  • Calle Camelia (El Camino Real to west end)
  • Tacoma St – (From the Oscar Yrun Center to the east end)

Because of the process involved in the manufacture and the application of this treatment, it is difficult to predict an exact time the work will start and end on each street. At times, traffic will be restricted to one lane in each direction resulting in traffic delays. If possible, use an alternate route. Drivers who must travel through these areas should use caution and obey all traffic control devices.
