ACS shares news about upcoming events, classes

ACS hours change on Tuesday

New hours of operations for Army Community Service will be in effect starting Tuesday and are as follows:
Monday – Wednesday: 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Thursday: 10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Friday: 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Military Family Appreciation Night

Military Family Appreciation Night will be held Nov. 29, 6 – 9 p.m. at the Thunder Mountain Activity Centre. Join ACS as the staff celebrates Military Families with food, music by Disc Jockey Daniels, 3D Game Box, youth activities and more!

Learn about federal employment

A Federal Employment Class takes place Nov. 13, 8:30 – 10 a.m. at ACS. Learn more about federal employment and spouse employment preference. Pre-registration is required to attend; call ACS at 533.2330 to sign up. This class is held the second Tuesday of each month if attendees are registered.

Volunteers sought

Calling all volunteers! Volunteers are an important part of our service to the community. Whether it is welcoming in clients, assisting programs or donating time at one of our special events, volunteer service is key to ACS operation and meaningful to clients. ACS seeks volunteers who wish to share their time and talent to support the agency’s mission and the community. The agency offers diverse volunteer opportunities and invites the community to make a difference in the lives of the military community. If interested, call Lana, 533.3986.
