Holiday bazaar offers early shopportunity, raises $$$ for student awards

The Fort Huachuca Community Spouses Club’s Holiday Bazaar took place on Saturday and Sunday and was free and open to the public. The FHCSC is open to military of all ranks, retirees, their family members and anyone who considers themselves part of the Fort Huachuca community. The show, which attracted about 2,000 people, was held at Barnes Field House and had 93 vendor booths where people could shop, including new booths offering gourds, river reed products and lighted wine bottles.

The line stayed consistent at the Cinnamon Roasted Nuts stand during the 2012 Fort Huachuca Holiday Bazaar at Barnes Field House on Saturday. The event, a partnership between the FHCSC and the Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation also offered football games on big-screen TVs near the food concessions for non-shoppers.
