Turkey Bowl slated

Fort Huachuca will host its annual Turkey Bowl and holiday food drive on Warrior and Sentinel Field tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. This event is a friendly football game between the 11th Theater Tactical Signal Brigade and partner signal organizations versus the 111th Military Intelligence Brigade. The public is invited, and there is no charge.

Admission is free, but everyone is asked to bring a non-perishable food item to help replenish the Chaplain’s Food Locker.

Right Arm Night will follow Turkey Bowl

Don’t miss the next Right Arm Night following the Turkey Bowl Nov. 16 at Warrior/Sentinel Field.

RAN is free and open to Soldiers, civilians, retirees and Family members 18 and older. There will be prizes, free finger foods and a pay-as-you-go bar.

MWR Rents has tickets for Miami Heat game

FMWR’s Outdoor Recreation Program has scheduled the following NBA Basketball game trip: Saturday, Phoenix Suns versus the Miami Heat. Cost is $100 per ticket or $135 with transportation included. Tickets available with transportation are limited.

Outdoor Rec also has ticket vouchers available to purchase for any other Suns game.

Military Family Appreciation Night set

Army Community Service will present Military Family Appreciation Night Nov. 29 from 6 – 9 p.m. at Thunder Mountain Activity Centre. The event is free and open to all FMWR patrons, including active duty, Reserves, retirees and Family members.

Various activities for children and adults, including 3D Game Box, a DJ playing a variety of music, finger foods and beverages will be available.

Join ‘Biggest Loser’ Boot Camp

Sports, Fitness and Aquatics will present the “Biggest Loser Boot Camp,” a three-month-long weight loss camp beginning in January and offered free to FMWR patrons.

The program includes: nutrition counseling; basic food preparation and cooking for a healthy diet; full body and fitness assessments; and individual workout programs along with group programs.

Entry forms and physician’s clearance forms are available at Barnes Field House and Eifler Fitness Center. Applications are due Dec. 20 by 5 p.m.

NOEL event scheduled for Dec. 7, 8

FMWR will present “NOEL” — Night of Extraordinary Lights — Dec. 7 and 8 from 4 – 11 p.m. at Mountain View Golf Course. This free event is open to everyone.

Activities include: hay rides to view holiday light displays, ice skating rink (skates provided), photos with Santa, holiday movies, letters to the North Pole and more.

Food and beverages will be available for purchase, and craft vendors will be on hand for holiday shopping.

Enjoy TMAC’s lunch buffet

Everyone is invited to enjoy lunch at Thunder Mountain Activity Centre, now served Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

TMAC offers the lunch buffet for $8.95 for adults or $4.50 for children 5 – 11. All buffets include salad bar, desserts, rolls and a non-alcoholic beverage.
