Military Family Appreciation Night a success

Attendees make choices from the food spread, provided by Thunder Mountain Activity Centre Caterers, which included various items such as fruit, chicken fingers, macaroni and cheese bites and a cheese tray.

Army Community Service presented their Military Family Appreciation Night on the evening of Nov. 29 at the Thunder Mountain Activity Centre.

Service members and their families enjoyed a night of dancing, food and entertainment. The event, free to all attendees, was a hit as children and adults alike filled the dance floor. Various arts and crafts stations were available for those inspired by the holiday season. The 3D Game Box was also present with the latest games and entertainment consoles. Lines for the food, provided by TMAC Catering, never seemed to cease throughout the evening, and the chocolate fountain drew a particularly large crowd.
