Military members receive free trees

Pvt. Mathew Proctor, Company C, 305th Military Intelligence Battalion, from Napa, Idaho, loads a Christmas tree into a car during the Trees for Troops® event, held in Fort Huachuca’s Thunder Mountain Activity Centre parking lot, Nov. 29. The Christmas SPIRIT Foundation and the FedEx Corp collect trees, donated by more than 800 Christmas tree growers from across the United States, and they are made available free of charge to military Families. This year, more than 18,000 trees will be distributed at 62 military bases around the world.
