Home decorating contest announced

All Mountain Vista Communities residents in on-post housing are invited to participate in a holiday home decorating contest. It will be up to the residents living on post to nominate their favorite decorated houses in one of the categories below.

Submit the nomination by Dec. 20 to 515.9000 or jcooper@themichaelsorg.com. Voting will take place between Dec. 21 – 25 for the nominated homes. Look to email and to Facebook for the nominations to know where to go to vote.

Winners will be contacted and announced on Dec. 28. People can vote for their own home! Categories are creativity, best use of lights and originality.

Holiday cookie decorating class set

Bring the whole family to join Mountain Vista Communities and Lakenda from Oh My Cake! Bake Shop to learn how to artfully decorate cookies for the holidays. Cookies and frosting will be provided, along with snacks and door prizes too.

The event will be held Dec. 15, 10 a.m. at the MVC Community Center, 102 Davis.

RSVP by Dec. 12 to attend this event due to limited space by calling 515.9000.
