11th TTSB Soldiers return from Afghanistan today

Approximately 60 Soldiers from Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 11th Theater Tactical Signal Brigade, are scheduled to return from an 11-month deployment in Afghanistan today. The unit was led by Col. Patrick Dedham, commander, 11th Theater Tactical Signal Brigade and Command Sgt. Maj. Earl Allen.

Known as Task Force Signal, the 11th TTSB supported signal operations for U.S. operational forces in the Combined Joint Operations Area throughout the Southwest Asia area of operations. As part of the brigade’s mission, they provided communications networks, information systems services support and Information Assurance/Computer Network Defense to Soldiers around the entire Afghanistan area of operations.

Immediately following their arrival, a welcome home ceremony is scheduled to be held at Murr Community Center.
