Fort PAO seeks cover for next year’s phone book, map

Photographers – have your photo featured on the cover of a phone book and map.

Fort Huachuca Public Affairs Office personnel are looking for a cover design for the 2014 “Fort Huachuca Thunder Mountaineer,” the installation’s official phone book, and the 2014 Fort Huachuca map.

Submit up to five of your best photos that epitomize Fort Huachuca. In addition to receiving recognition for taking the cover photo for the phone book and map, the winner will receive several prizes from the Fort Huachuca Public Affairs Office.

Take original still photographs that reflect the theme of the contest, the “Best of Fort Huachuca.” Photographs should be a representation of Fort Huachuca at its finest. Photographs must be in .jpg or .png format, and the file should be no larger than 5 megabytes, or MB. Submissions must be at least 300 dots-per-inch, or DPI.

Fill out the required entry form, found on the Fort Huachuca Facebook page. If necessary, fill out a model release, have the model sign it, and email the completed release to Kristine.s.smedley.mil@mail.mil. The Fort Huachuca Facebook page contains the entry form, the requirements for model release and the model release form.

Photographs which contain date stamps or the photographer’s name will be disqualified.

Explanatory text about the photo on the entry form should be brief and concise.

All images must contain a unique title; “untitled” is not acceptable.

Submit photograph(s), entry form and release form, if necessary, to: Kristine.s.smedley.mil@mail.mil or submit in person at the Fort Huachuca Public Affairs Office, 3015 Carnahan St., Building 21115, not later than Aug. 23.
