Mean machines – NCOA volunteers help keep ‘em clean

Staff Sgt. David Crosby, 12th Platoon, Advanced Leadership Course, Noncommissioned Officers Academy, dries the top a water tender. According to Dave Rhodes, Fort Huachuca Fire Department, Station 2 captain, the Soldiers’ volunteer project to wash the fire vehicles was a huge time saver; normally the fire department personnel can only find time to wash about one vehicle a day.

Soldiers from the 12th Platoon, Advanced Leadership Course, Noncommissioned Officers Academy, assist the Fort Huachuca Fire Department in washing vehicles from Stations 1 and 2 on Fort Huachuca on Saturday. The Soldiers used the opportunity as their class’ volunteer community service project.
