Students color their way to prizes

USO-1

From left, Isaac Olsen, Aija Simmons, Sumahi Duenas, Garren Marshall, Addison Sanders and Annie Ricks, all fifth grade students at General Myer Elementary School, pose for a photo, Aug. 27, after learning they won a coloring contest held by USO Arizona last spring. Each student won a Barnes and Noble $25 gift card. There were 143 entries from Fort Huachuca alone, so USO Arizona gave them their own contest. The pictures they colored, as well as this group picture of the winners will be hung at Sky Harbor Airport, in Phoenix. Not pictured are Robert Sangvic, Maryland; David Parker, Texas; and Ashley Lugo who relocated this summer along with their military Families.
