Chalk Talk

General Myer Elementary School

This week, the second half of Valerie Lathrop’s class at General Myer Elementary School reports on what they’ve recently been learning in third grade.

Larcel: “Math, multiplication, reading, spelling, the months and art.”

Alexia: “Multiplication, division and fractions.”

Dylan: “A little division, about plants, how to multiply a lot … I’ve been learning fractions!”

Jennifer: “Science, times and art. Coloring is very fun!”

Brooklyn: “My times, science, math and reading. School is good!”

Alek: “Multiplication. Division is fun.”

Melvona: “Making new friends is cool! Fractions. I’ve also learned how to write in cursive. General Myer is awesome!”

Ramon: “Math facts, times, grammar, practice tests, dividing, subtraction, addition and our green math books.”

Markus: “Fractions, phonics, spelling and grammar. I like reading, and I like our practice books in math and reading.”

Brayden: “Fractions, times, adding and subtracting. Third grade is the best grade I’ve ever been to!”
