Chalk Talk

General Myer Elementary School

Susan Ford’s class is celebrating its 100th day today! The students brought in 100 items of their choice to share and create an art project to celebrate.

In math, Ford’s class is counting money and reviewing multiplication facts.

Trevor C. and Trinity H. in Marie Lee’s class were awesome helpers; they stayed and scraped off the oil pastels on the floor that someone had stepped on.

Kim Tomlin’s class is doing research in science class, creating a storyboard and script for their Biome iMovies. Filming begins this week. The science exhibition is also approaching, so students are finding their projects and beginning the steps of the Scientific Process.

In social studies Tomlin’s class is beginning to study about the American Revolution. But, what students are really looking forward to is the Accelerated Reader auction.
