Youth baseball, softball set

Child, Youth and School Services Youth Sports and Fitness Program personnel have announced registration for Little League Baseball and Ponytail Softball for the upcoming season. Registration will be held tomorrow from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Mall at Sierra Vista, El Mercado Loop.

TMAC offers relaxing evening

Thunder Mountain Activity Centre personnel invite everyone to “Martini & Massage Night,” tomorrow, 6 – 9 p.m. Cost is $10 per person and includes a martini, appetizers, mini manicures and 10-minute massage. Vendors will be available.

Everyone is invited to bring a friend for a night of food, fun and shopping. First come, first served. Reservations are not necessary.

Don’t miss next RAN

The January Right Arm Night is set to start at 4 p.m. Jan. 31, at Thunder Mountain Activity Centre. Free finger foods and a pay-as-you-go bar will be available. Enter contests and win prizes.

CDC offers evening child care

New Beginnings Child Development Center will offer “Parents Night Out,” Feb. 1, from 6 – 10 p.m. Reservations will be taken on Monday to Jan. 29.

Charges of $16 per child apply. Children must be registered with Child, Youth and School Services.

Diner plans Super Bowl party

Jeannie’s Diner will host a Super Bowl party beginning at 3 p.m. Feb. 2.

The staff invites everyone to watch the game on one of the four big screen TVs, enjoy food specials and register for door prizes. The event is free and open to all.

TMAC celebrates Valentine’s Day

Personnel at Thunder Mountain Activity Centre have planned a special Valentine’s Day Dinner and Dance, Feb. 14, 5 – 9 p.m.

Cost is $50 per couple and will include either N.Y. strip steak or pecan crusted salmon, wild rice, asparagus and red velvet cake; a glass of champagne and a carnation for the ladies.

Stop at TMAC by Feb. 11 to make reservations or reserve by phone with a credit card.

Free fitness classes offered

The Sports, Fitness and Aquatics Division offers free ongoing fitness classes, including spinning, Zumba, yoga, aerobics, water fitness classes and more.

SKIES offers classes for youth

Child, Youth and School Services SKIESUnlimited Program personnel are offering several classes, including computer, gymnastics, piano lessons, cooking, karate, tae kwon do and dance.

Dine at TMAC for lunch

Thunder Mountain Activity Centre personnel invite everyone to join them for their lunch buffet, now served Tuesdays through Fridays 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Cost is $8.95 for adults or $4.50 for children 5 – 11. All buffets include salad bar, desserts, rolls and a non-alcoholic beverage.

MWR Rents now open Saturdays
