MI NCOs inducted into elite enlisted Soldier club

Nathan Welles, Company E, 309th MI Bn.; and Staff Sgt. Peter Jones, 344th MI Bn., Goodfellow Air Force Base, Texas, are inducted into the Sgt. Audie Murphy Club, or SAMC, in Fitch Auditorium, Alvarado Hall, on Jan. 14. SAMC is a private U.S. Army organization for enlisted noncommissioned officers only. Members must “ … exemplify leadership characterized by personal concern for the needs, training, development, and welfare of Soldiers and concern for Families of Soldiers,” according to U.S. Army Forces Command Regulation 600-8, paragraph 1.
