FMWR hosts evening out for women

Jeannie’s Diner will host a Super Bowl party beginning at 3 p.m. Sunday.

Celebrate Valentine’s Day at TMAC
Personnel at Thunder Mountain Activity Centre have planned a special Valentine’s Day Dinner and Dance, Feb. 14, 5 – 9 p.m.
Cost is $50 per couple and will include either N.Y. strip steak or pecan crusted salmon, wild rice, asparagus and red velvet cake; a glass of champagne and a carnation for the ladies.

CDC offers evening child care
New Beginnings Child Development Center will offer “Parents Night Out,” March 1, from 6 – 10 p.m. Reservations will be taken on Monday to Feb. 26.
Charges of $16 per child apply. Children must be registered with Child, Youth and School Services.

College rodeo set to return to FH
FMWR, the Sierra Vista Riding Club and Cochise College will host the Cochise College Rodeo March 1 – 2 at Fort Huachuca’s Wren Arena. Performances start at 1 p.m. both days.
The rodeo is open to the public and will feature saddle and bareback bronc riding, steer wrestling, tie-down roping, team roping, bull riding, barrel racing, breakaway roping and goat tying.
Both days, enjoy Barney’s Backyard Barnyard Free Petting Zoo. Operating hours will be announced later.
Active duty military and children 5 and under will be admitted free. Advance tickets for the general public go on sale Tuesday for $7 at Murr Community Center on Fort Huachuca, Buffalo Wild Wings, Sierra Vista, and at Cochise College, Sierra Vista and Douglas campuses. Tickets will be $8 at the gate.
