Chalk Talk

General Myer Elementary School

All General Myer Elementary School students participated in the Black Inventors Exhibit. Amy Wolfe’s fifth grade class has studied Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., civil rights and Malcolm X.

In Amy Wolfe’s reading groups, students are preparing for the Movie Trailer Red Carpet Premier for the literature circles. Students were broken into small groups, given a novel, and will create a movie trailer for their book report. These movie trailers will be screened in the library on March 14. Students will vote for best original trailer, most creative trailer, best costumes, and in other categories.
