Fort achieves new record for water savings in 2012

Calendar year 2012 water pumpage (986 acre-feet) is a new record for water savings on Fort Huachuca and is the lowest water usage year beating the previous low water use record set in 2011. The water pumpage for December 2012 was 26,471,000 gallons, or 81 acre-feet, and is equivalent to 0.869 million gallons per day….

New DFAC opens doors, offers specialty items to Soldiers

Fort Huachuca’s new and modern Weinstein Village Dining Facility, or DFAC, opened its doors for the grand opening on Jan. 3, replacing the older Yardley and Miss Virginia Hall DFACs.
