Testimonials

Here is what HR representatives have said about past Aerotech Expo Job Fairs:

"We had really good response from the resumes that we received at the Aerotech Job Fair," said Arthur Grider of Pendragon. "We felt we had better quality applicants then we've seen from all of the other job fairs that we've attended. We've done the Aerotech Job Fair for a couple of years now. We are a temporary staffing firm, for engineers designers and aircraft technicians. We also picked up some good accounting folk for a subsidiary company that we have, called Accountants Exchange." When asked if he would recommend to other companies, Grider said "Absolutely not...because I don't want them competing for those resumes. We had some good response."

"There were many good resumes that came in through the Aerotech Job Fair," said Barbara Baerga, personnel administrator for Spiral Technology, Inc. "The resumes that we received fit the descriptions of the jobs that we were trying to fill. It's not like when you place an advertisement in the paper, and all of a sudden you get things that don't even pertain to the job you want to fill. We were able to talk to the applicant right there on the spot, get a feel for what they knew about the position. We were able to book appointments for the applicants right on the spot, for a more formal interview later."

"It's always a positive experience. We go twice a year and I'm always hiring good quality people from this event," said Carol Mallinder, manager of human resources for AVTEL Services, Inc. "We're a repair facility and the people that we're looking for have to have commercial aircraft maintenance and repair experience. Structures mechanics and airframe and power plant mechanics are hard to come by, but at this job fair, we know we'll get resumes that are what we're looking for."

Donna Mayfield with OAO Corp., which has attended the Aerotech Job Fair for the last four years, says that if you have to attend a job fair, "the Aerotech Job Fair is the place to be …. It's a very worthwhile tool for employees and employers."

Gary Frink, technical recruiter for United Airlines, had a great response at the Aerotech Job Fair, and is definitely looking forward to coming back. "We found a lot of qualified applicants. In comparison, there are only a few others that would compare with the Aerotech Job Fair. The quality of the applicants was exceptional."

"We were pleased with our experience with the Aerotech Job Fair," said Erica Berge with Computer Sciences Corp. "We did receive a lot of good candidates, we had a good turn out, and we've called in some of them for further interviews, and we've hired some of the applicants."

"Aerotech does a lot of advertising which is good, because we had a tremendous response when we were there. We had a continuous line of qualified people all day," said Rick Reyes program manager for Wyle Labs at Edwards Air Force Base.

"We get a lot of good response and a lot of resumes when we participate in the Aerotech Job Fair," said James Shields with Woodside Summit. "We were looking to fill jobs for computer specialists, engineer analysts and administrative positions. We were also able to share some of the resumes we received with NASA and some of the other companies that we do business with and they were able to hire a few people that way."
