Space and Missile Systems Center Commander Lt. Gen. Ellen Pawlikowski receives a certificate from American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics President Brian Dailey inducting the general as a 2012 AIAA Fellow at a gala held in Washington, D.C., May 8. The distinction of fellow is conferred upon AIAA members who have made notable and valuable contributions to the arts, sciences, or aeronautics and astronautics technology. There were 28 fellows elected this year representing government, industry and academia.
